Israel’s Prospects for More Allies
I try to say things that I think are both important and haven’t previously been said, or not emphasized enough. One thing that HAS been said, and rightly so, is that Israel has been inexplicably bad at Hasbara, or PR.
What hasn’t been said enough is Israel has a few allies, and should patiently and relentlessly try to accumulate more. In most UN votes, there are about 14 nations that vote with Israel. We should encourage them — especially now — to make statements in support of Israel and in support of the US/Israel war against the Ayatollahs’ Regime. We have Czechia, Hungary, Panama, Micronesia, Guatemala — there are pitifully few. But we should get them to speak out and issue statements and publish those in places like the NY Times.
Here’s another: Estonia.
Estonia is ready to discuss Hormuz mission with US, foreign minister tells ToI | The Times of Israel
Welcome Estonia, into the fold!
Next, we should get the US and others to recognize Somaliland, which surely deserves to be a nation more than Somalia does. They are an ally. Zambia has said that it wants to be an ally, too. The more nations — especially European nations — that join us, the more the tide will turn.
