President Trump This Morning: Israel – “A Great Ally”
In the face this week of a majority [n.b.] of Democratic Party U.S. Senators voting to block U.S. arms’ sales to Israel, the only state in the world right now joining the U.S. in military action against Iran’s close attainment of nuclear bombs, blockading a key international waterway, and fomenting terrorism especially but not exclusively against Jews, it should be a source of pride to American Jews that our Jewish homeland’s joinder with the U.S. in this indispensable effort is appreciated as meaningful and effective by the U.S. military and President of the United States.
So this week’s Israel Good News – Restore the Pride blog cites World Israel News’s report this week about an Israeli Air Force pilot’s 25-year career. Hezy Laing fought in three wars and hundreds of combat sorties. He’s said that witnessing the IAF’s precision, logistics and ability to coordinate large-scale strikes has made him feel like a mere student by comparison.
“I’ve flown over Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. I thought I had seen everything. But when I saw what the IAF is doing in Iran, I realized I’m still a student. Precision – logistics – 200 aircraft in one night – 500 targets – 1500 kilometers…. Israeli pilots, you are not only the best in the Middle East, you are the best in the world..”
U.S. General Dan Caine, Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, publicly praised the IAF as a “brave, capable and willing ally” during a Pentagon briefing on April 8.
And here’s what the President of the United States just wrote on his Truth Social platform, as reported this morning, April 19, by World Israel News:
“Whether people like Israel or not, they have proven to be a GREAT ally of the United States of America. They are courageous, bold, loyal, and smart and, unlike others that have shown their true colors in a moment of conflict and stress, Israel fights hard and knows how to WIN!”
