The following was reported in World Israel News by Pesach Benson on February 6th. The IDF reached a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Douglas Unit, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting soldiers with disabilities and special needs.
This new unit is dedicated to helping young individuals with both physical and mental disabilities integrate into military service, while fostering inclusion in Israel’s society at large.
