When I told publisher Steve Crane that a “Judaica” book on Jews’ continuous post-biblical presence in Palestine was crying out to be published, I added that a Judaica book also crying out was on How the Media Skews the News So It Skrews Us Jews. Steve said, “Write that one too,” which my co-author Lee Bender (of Blessed Memory) and I did, and Steve published that too.
Of all the continuously running canards polluting the world about our Jewish people’s homeland of Israel, anti-Israel media bias, almost universal in western media today, poisons public perception most devastatingly. It is a Shanda for we grassroots US Jews just to shamefully avert our eyes from it.
So read this one too. We titled it Pressing Israel: Media Bias Exposed from A-to-Z. We came up with a species of bias for each letter of the alphabet – false charge of “Apartheid” for “A,” miscalling mere ceasefire lines as international “Borders” for “B,” etc. We struggled with “Q,” finally coming up with “al Quds, Not Your Forefathers’ Jerusalem.”
