Judea & Samaria are Part of the Historical Homeland of the Jews
October 29, 2025
On the question whether Judea and Samaria are in Israel, a definition of Israel is required.
If Israel means the historical homeland of the Jews, the territory with which Jews have been connected for three thousand years, then Judea and Samaria are indisputably in Israel. A map of the territory occupied by the 12 tribes of Israel shows very substantial territory east of the Jordan River occupied by the tribes of Manasseh, Gad and Reuben.
If Israel means what the United Nations says it means, then the meaning of Israel is unclear.
Is it what the UN said it was in 1948?
Is it what Israel means now after several unsuccessful attempts of the Arab nations to invade, conquer and destroy Israel? Historically the country of Jordan, carved out of the Jewish homeland after World War I was gifted to the Arabian Hashemite tribe by the Western powers for help in World War I. Now the western powers want to carve out another big piece out of the Jewish historical homeland (Judea and Samaria) and gift it to an Arab terrorist regime (Fatah), encircling the modern State of Israel with militant Arab enemies on the north, south and east (the Mediterranean Sea is on the west.)
“Two states for two peoples” will thrill Israel-haters and should horrify lovers of Israel.
