Jerome R. Verlin grew up in Philadelphia and attended public schools. He earned degrees from Washington & Lee University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. For many years, Mr. Verlin worked as a professional developer, creating software programs for businesses

He has a deep interest in Israel and Jewish history. Mr. Verlin wrote the book “Israel 3000 Years,” which explores the long history of the Jewish people in their homeland. He also co-authored “Pressing Israel: Media Bias Exposed From A-to-Z,” which examines how media sometimes presents an unfair view of Israel.

Mr. Verlin believes in educating people about Israel and addressing misinformation. He writes a weekly email to fellow Americans to raise awareness about biased media coverage and the harmful language often used to describe Israel
